On the hood: TUMS Dual Action will be the primary sponsor on Montoya’s No. 42 Chevrolet from Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates this weekend in Talladega. The No. 42 TUMS Dual Action Chevrolet will feature a white and blue fading paint scheme with energy bolts on both sides of the car. New longer-lasting TUMS Dual Action is available on store shelves this month including all Target locations. TUMS Dual Action goes to work in seconds and lasts for hours, all day or all night.
Meet Montoya: Montoya will be making an appearance at the TUMS display on Sunday in the Fan Zone at Talladega Superspeedway. Montoya will sign autographs for fans from 9:45 to 10:05 a.m. Fans are encouraged to stop by prior to the event to receive a ticket. Tickets are limited.
Talladega History: Montoya will take the green flag for his fifth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend. He made his stock car racing debut at the 2.66-mile track in 2006. In four previous starts, Montoya averages a 21st-place start and an 18th-place finish. Last year’s spring event marked his best finish at the Superspeedway, when he started 26th and raced his way up to second-place.
Last weekend: Juan Pablo Montoya and the Target team started 20th for the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday. Despite having a fast car, the Target team battled being a lap down due to a pit road penalty, resulting in a 24th-place finish.
In the Points: Montoya stands 15th in the NASCAR Driver Point Standings, 332 points behind leader Jeff Gordon and 36 points out of 12th, the cutoff for the Chase.

No. 1 Bass Pro Shops/Tracker Boats Chevrolet (NSCS): Chassis #074 Crew Chief Kevin “Bono” Manion has elected to bring Chassis number #074. This chassis was last used by Truex to win the Coors Light Pole Award and secure an 11th place finish for the Daytona 500.
